In fact, I ran my first half-marathon a few weeks ago and now I'm ready to begin training for a full marathon. Learn with me how to achieve 26.2 miles at 41!

Sick AGAIN!
Well, I've been sick for the second time and it really is messing with my head. I've decided that sickness is equal to weakness and therefore I'm weak. I think I need a mind transformation about being sick. I ran 6 miles yesterday and it felt pretty rough, but today, I read another chapter in the book, No More Excuses by Sam Silverstein and I am completely motivated to get back to being the new and improved me. That means that I am motivated to run and that I look forward to it. I'm also motivated to weight train on my off days and that is something I have not consistently done since I was sick the first time about a month ago. So, today I weight trained, did sprints and even came back and did ab work. I'll be hurting tomorrow, but today...I feel pretty good about myself!
